Problem

Approach

PlantMCP bridges AutoCAD Plant 3D directly to Claude AI using Anthropic's Model Context Protocol. The MCP server exposes Plant 3D's drawing intelligence as tools that Claude can call: line lists, equipment queries, spec lookups, P&ID validation, and more — all through natural language.

Result

Engineers can ask "show me all 6-inch carbon steel lines above 150°C" or "validate the P&ID tags against the spec" and get instant, accurate answers — without touching the AutoCAD interface. What took 30 minutes of manual queries now takes 30 seconds of conversation.
